geoAMPS is an honoree in the Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio awards program. The weekly business news publication Columbus Business First, which organizes the annual awards program, reports that it received a record number of nominations for the award.

Business First reported that it received 97 nominations for the 2016 awards program. That is 17 more than the number submitted last year, which also was a record year.

geoAMPS is one of only five honorees in the Small Organization category (2 to 99 employees). Thirty-one Small, Medium (100 to 499 employees) and Large (500 or more employees) organizations in Columbus and the surrounding region are 2016 honorees of Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio. Columbus is the capital and largest city in Ohio.

Now geoAMPS is looking ahead to the Healthiest Employers Awards Program and Wellness Expo scheduled for March 15 at COSI in Columbus. At the awards program, geoAMPS and other honorees in each category will learn how they ranked, based on an analysis of their award nominations.

In 2014 geoAMPS won first place in the Small Organization category and in 2015 geoAMPS won second place.
