geoAMPS is an honoree in the Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio awards program. The weekly business news publication Columbus Business First, which organizes the annual awards program, reports that it received a record number of nominations for the award.

Business First reported that it received 97 nominations for the 2016 awards program. That is 17 more than the number submitted last year, which also was a record year.

geoAMPS is one of only five honorees in the Small Organization category (2 to 99 employees). Thirty-one Small, Medium (100 to 499 employees) and Large (500 or more employees) organizations in Columbus and the surrounding region are 2016 honorees of Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio. Columbus is the capital and largest city in Ohio.

Now geoAMPS is looking ahead to the Healthiest Employers Awards Program and Wellness Expo scheduled for March 15 at COSI in Columbus. At the awards program, geoAMPS and other honorees in each category will learn how they ranked, based on an analysis of their award nominations.

In 2014 geoAMPS won first place in the Small Organization category and in 2015 geoAMPS won second place.

geoAMPS helps its employees stay healthy through a comprehensive wellness and fitness program.

“It is especially rewarding that geoAMPS was recognized among a record number of nominations,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said. “Our entire geoAMPS team wants to congratulate Columbus Business First for organizing this outstanding annual awards program which is growing in interest, participation and impact.”

geoAMPS, a company launched in 2011, is providing health and wellness programs that rival those offered by large established organizations. During the past year, geoAMPS has added upon the health and wellness initiatives that propelled it to top honors in the 2014 and 2015 Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio awards. For example, the company provides discounted memberships to a local gym. The company also offers prizes for wellness activities through a rewards points system that can be submitted and tracked through a telephone mobile application. The application was built in-house. geoAMPS continues to offer free massages to its employees during work hours.

Located in Powell, OH, geoAMPS is the leader in creating software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets. The company has experienced rapid, dramatic growth and now serves clients, including leaders in their respective industries, throughout the United States and in Canada. geoAMPS offers 11 industry-specific software products. The company’s software standardizes and automates project and organization processes, creating an average 35 percent cost savings through efficiencies.
