geoAMPS is Central Ohio Corporate Caring Finalist

geoAMPS has been selected a 2016 Corporate Caring Finalist. The program honors for-profit companies of Central Ohio for their financial contributions, volunteer service and other unique contributions to Columbus-area charities and nonprofit organizations.

This year marks the second consecutive year that geoAMPS has been named a Corporate Caring Finalist.

The awards program is organized by Columbus Business First, the leading weekly business newspaper serving Central Ohio. Nick Fortine, Business First President and Publisher, said more than 100 nominations were received for this year’s awards.

“I am very pleased that geoAMPS has repeated as a Finalist in the Corporate Caring Awards, and I want to thank Columbus Business First for organizing this important program,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said. “I am especially proud of all of our employees who give generously to help those in need throughout Central Ohio and elsewhere.

Finalists include small, medium and large for-profit companies and organizations throughout Central Ohio.

Announcement of Honorees

From the finalists, judges have selected 15 Corporate Caring Award Honorees, including the Benefactor of the Year, all to be announced at an upcoming awards luncheon and nonprofit information exchange. That event is scheduled for Thursday, June 23, at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus.

Leena is a member of the Advisory Board of the Delaware County Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Yogesh Khandelwal selected EY Ohio Valley Region finalist

Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, is a finalist for the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 Award in the Ohio Valley Region. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges. “I am honored to have been selected a regional finalist in the Ernst and Young awards program. It is humbling to have been chosen along with 24 outstanding business leaders in the Ohio Valley Region,” Yogesh said. “This is an honor I share with our geoAMPS team. Each day, I am amazed by their commitment to build upon our reputation as the premier provider of software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets.”

geoAMPS sponsoring event for American Red Cross

geoAMPS is pleased to again sponsor the Delaware County, Ohio, Power of the Purse event to raise money for the American Red Cross. This marks the third year that geoAMPS has sponsored this event to benefit the life-saving work of the Red Cross. This event is scheduled Friday, April 22, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Banquet and Conference Center in Powell. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. There will be a pre-reception before the Power of the Purse event in the conference center’s main ballroom.
