geoAMPS donation supports VFW Ohio Charities

 geoAMPS is pleased to announce its donation to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ohio Charities.

A technology company located in Powell, geoAMPS presented $4,100 to the organization that assists veterans, active duty and their families, as well as reaching out and assisting communities throughout Ohio.“We are proud that this donation, provided by our community-minded team, will be used to help veterans in need with housing,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said. “All of us at geoAMPS are grateful for the sacrifices made by the nation’s members of the armed services.

“Our team members appreciate the important work done by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ohio Charities and welcome the opportunity to lend our support.”

The donation to Veterans of Foreign Wars Ohio Charities is a continuation of the community outreach efforts conducted by geoAMPS and members of its team. The money for this latest donation was raised through the company’s charity fund. Team members contribute to the fund throughout the year. At year’s end, the team participates in selecting the charitable organization to receive the donation.

Guy Allen, Business Development Director of geoAMPS and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, presented the donation to Bill Seagraves, Executive Director of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ohio Charities.

“I want to thank geoAMPS for the generous donation to our Veterans Relief Fund,” Bill said. “Our organization appreciates geoAMPS’ desire to assist those who served our country and are protecting our great country."

He said the geoAMPS donation would help Veterans of Foreign Wars Ohio Charities make rent deposits for homeless veterans at the request of the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Through its community outreach program, geoAMPS also has supported the American Red Cross, Humane Society of Delaware County, Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Asha Ray of Hope, ALS Foundation, the Salvation Army and the American Cancer Society.
