Georgia IRWA chapter enjoys geoAMPS presentation

Members of the geoAMPS team have returned from their presentation at an International Right of Way Association chapter meeting on July 18. Guy Allen, Business Development Director, and Nathan Mirolo, Product Lead, spoke at the annual Summer Education Conference of Georgia IRWA Chapter 22. The conference was held at the Classic Center in Athens, Ga. Guy and Nate demonstrated the benefits of geoAMPS' Web, GIS, Mobile and Detached platforms in helping to manage complex right-of-way projects more efficiently. The team also discussed geoAMPS' ability to generate customized templates and reports on demand and at predefined schedules. "We appreciated the opportunity to share with those at the Chapter 22 meeting how geoAMPS products can help them stay on top of their projects, whether they're working from the field or from the office," Guy said. geoAMPS solutions are available across multiple technology platforms for optimal flexibility and deployment.

Girls' night out raises funds for American Red Cross

geoAMPS employees and their invited guests enjoyed an evening of fun and fashion May 9 to benefit the life-saving work of the American Red Cross. The Delaware County (Ohio) Chapter of the American Red Cross kicked off Mother’s Day weekend with its popular Power of the Purse fundraiser. The event was held atBridgewater Banquet and Conference Center in Powell. This was the second consecutive year that geoAMPS sponsored the event and donated designer purses for the live auction. Based in Powell, geoAMPS is a technology company that specializes in software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets.

geoAMPS celebrates GIS Day

Representatives of geoAMPS joined in the celebration of national GIS Day Nov. 20 on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus. Joe Jordan, Brock Hicks and Lindsey Barrett represented the geoAMPS team for GIS Day activities at The Ohio Union. The theme for this year’s national observance of GIS Day was“Discovering the World through GIS.” GIS Day provides an international forum for users of geographic information systems (GIS) technology to demonstrate real-world applications, like those offered at geoAMPS, which are making a difference in society. The geoAMPS team members talked with OSU students and faculty about how geoAMPS incorporates GIS technology into its industry-specific suite of products. They also demonstrated geoAMPS’ web-based GIS viewer.
