geoAMPS: Business at Work in Delaware County, Ohio

geoAMPS is featured on a new economic development website launched by Delaware County, OH, the home county of geoAMPS.

An article on geoAMPS starts on the new website’s homepage under the heading “Business at Work in Delaware County.”

The article points out that geoAMPS is the market leader in providing software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets. geoAMPS has experienced dramatic, rapid growth in pushing the industry forward by bringing state-of-the-art technology, increased communication and quicker project completions to its customers.

“With our dramatic increase in customers throughout the United States and in Canada, additions to our geoAMPS team, and the move to a much larger office in 2014, geoAMPS has contributed to the economic development of Delaware County in a meaningful way,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said.

The company’s growing list of clients can achieve an average 35 percent savings in project costs through efficiencies made possible by utilizing geoAMPS products and services.

geoAMPS was launched in Powell in 2011 by Yogesh and Leena Khandelwal. As the number of clients and employees increased, the co-owners saw the need for a larger office. Yogesh and Leena wanted to remain in the Delaware County community of Powell. They were impressed by the quality of public services and the responsiveness of local government in Powell and Delaware County. A new geoAMPS office building was constructed, tripling the amount of office space to accommodate current needs and anticipated growth.

Today, geoAMPS clients are located throughout the United States and in Canada, in some of those countries’ largest cities.

“Even though we are serving customers many miles away, we would want not any other place than Delaware County for geoAMPS headquarters,” Yogesh said.

Launched with the purpose of increasing business and employment opportunities, the Delaware County economic development website provides information about working, doing business and living in the county and Central Ohio. It also provides information on local resources available to businesses.

“The entire geoAMPS team greatly appreciates the invitation from Delaware County officials for our company to be featured on their new economic development website,” Yogesh said.
