geoAMPS CEO named among Who's Who in Energy 2014-15

Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, has been honored by selection to Who’s Who in Energy for 2014-15 by American City Business Journals. He is among energy industry professionals recognized in the newspaper group’s Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and San Antonio markets.

Yogesh is recognized for his work in developing software for the oil, natural gas, and alternative energy industries. Through his leadership, geoAMPS is setting the standard for software solutions in energy industries and for managing land rights and infrastructure assets. The industry-specific software products offered by geoAMPS significantly increase efficiencies of development and operation of energy projects.

“I am honored by selection to Who’s Who in Energy by American City Business Journals,” Yogesh said. “I share this honor with the dedicated members of our geoAMPS team.”

Yogesh founded geoAMPS in 2011. With his experience in energy and other industries, he saw a lack of solutions comprehensive enough to meet the varied demands of businesses. Those situations result in data stored in multiple solutions, creating silos that are inefficient and frustrating for those in the industries.

“I came to realize that filling these voids in energy industries and other industries was a potential niche for a new company,” he said. “geoAMPS’ leadership in software solutions in the energy industry has contributed greatly to our dramatic growth in a relatively short period of time.”

In meetings with leaders of energy industries, he found that many companies continue to be predominantly paper-based, which creates project and organizational inefficiencies. These are inefficiencies that the geoAMPS solution was designed to help eliminate.

Yogesh developed the 11 industry-specific software products that are offered by geoAMPS. Those products include landAMPS for management of oil and natural gas projects and altAMPS for management of renewable energy projects.

This marks the second consecutive year that Yogesh has been named to Who’s Who in Energy in those major U.S. metropolitan markets.

Earlier in 2014, he was named one of 20 People to Know in Energy by Columbus Business First, a weekly business newspaper serving the Central Ohio area. He was selected to the 2013 Class of Forty Under 40, a prestigious honors program in Central Ohio.

In 2014, geoAMPS received a first place award for Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio.
