geoAMPS' COO invited to speak at Ohio Diversity and Leadership Conference


geoAMPS Chief Operating Officer Leena Madan has been invited to speak during the 7thannual Ohio Diversity and Leadership Conference scheduled for Oct. 30-31 in Columbus.

Presented by the Ohio Diversity Council, the theme of this year’s conference is “We are Just Getting Started.” The conference affords organizations the opportunity to explore tools and resources necessary to build diverse workforces and remain competitive in the global market. It is a chance for individuals to network and grow in their knowledge of diversity and leadership.

Leena will join other speakers who will offer during panel sessions their unique perspective on a variety of topics, including the creation of a diverse workforce, essential leadership skills, personal branding, and diversity and inclusion best practices.

“We have made great strides in fostering an environment for diversity and inclusion. However, there is still much more to be done,” Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the National Diversity Council, said. “In order to remain competitive in today’s global economy, organizations must be innovative and creative when it comes to maintaining diversity within their workforce.”

Several sessions are planned. Topics include Best Practices for Managing Generational Diversity; Dialogue on Race in America; Leveraging your Success through Mentors, Networks, and Sponsors; Maintaining your Cultural Authenticity; Top Competencies for Leadership; and Creating your Significance – Becoming your own Brand.
