Visit with geoAMPS at Global Petroleum Show

geoAMPS is attending the Global Petroleum Show (GPS) June 10-12 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. GPS is the meeting place for the global oil and natural gas industry.

Since 1968, GPS has been heralded as one of the largest energy events that brings together global producers, service companies and suppliers.

The exhibition at GPS features several specific focus areas featuring exhibits to showcase attendees about niche sectors in the oil and natural gas industry, including heavy oil, plant shutdown and maintenance, specialty oil tools and oilfield services.

Attending from geoAMPS are Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer;Guy Allen, Business Development Director; and Brock Hicks, Business Development Specialist.

“geoAMPS is pleased to attend the Global Petroleum Show,” Yogesh said. “We look forward to meeting with the many industry leaders who attend this event to discuss industry issues and how our products can help them complete and manage their projects more efficiently.

GPS attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about geoAMPS’ 11 industry-specific software products. Among them is landAMPS, which was specially designed to meet the needs of fast-paced lease acquisitions and manage expensive drill schedules where accuracy and speed are essential to overall success. With landAMPS, organizations have the ability to streamline workflows and eliminate costly errors in exploration, drilling, mining and production operations.

Companies that utilize landAMPS gain access to all mineral rights information that is managed in a centralized system. With landAMPS, agents can manage lease checks, environmental studies, mineral title research, lease acquisitions, depth severances, recurring payments and non-payment obligations, legal processes and property ownership changes. All of these tasks can be accomplished through a single data system.

With the standardization of data collection, organizations realize reductions in errors and cycle times.

Through landAMPS, organizations can also gain access to GIS mapping. Agents in the field can utilize mobile technology to obtain and update project information.

Necessary for oil and natural gas projects is acquisition of leases and right of way. geoAMPS has developed a powerful software product called rowAMPS, which provides a centralized repository for managing all land rights and infrastructure asset information for one or multiple projects, including projects to develop sources of renewable energy.

The rowAMPS solution helps organizations manage right-of-way projects and land assets, even long linear projects like pipelines, in a real-time, paperless environment that enables collaboration, efficiency and error reduction. rowAMPS provides detailed coverage of all right-of-way processes, such as route planning, budgeting, due diligence, negotiation with property owners, title, survey, acquisition, environmental, payments and legal.

rowAMPS is packed with time-saving tools, such as bulk document generation, bulk update, automatic reminders, scheduled reports, workflows, and import/export capability. The rowAMPS software brings transparency and facilitates compressed cycle times on various tasks while maintaining compliance with applicable rules and mandates.

By utilizing geoAMPS software, including landAMPS and rowAMPS, organizations realize measurable cost savings in their capital projects and ongoing operations.
As is the case with all geoAMPS software products, rowAMPS is a secure, Web-based system that can be coupled with an optional detached platform for field agents and an optional mobile application for on-the-go users. Right-of-way agents have found the software especially helpful in their land acquisition efforts. The mobile technology capability improves their efficiency.
rowAMPS, along with each of geoAMPS software products, offers GIS capabilities, delivering an integrated geospatial view of an organization’s projects.

geoAMPS has joined the worldwide community of companies in the Esri Partner Network as a Silver Tier Partner.
