Representatives of geoAMPS enjoyed meeting with oil and natural gas industry leaders at the Eastern Oil and Gas Conference and Trade Show. The event, organized by the Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association, was held May 13 and 14 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
Guy Allen, Business Development Director, and Alexander Morales, Business Development Manager, heard industry concerns and discussed how the geoAMPS solution can improve efficiencies through end-to-end management of oil and natural gas projects.

“All of us at geoAMPS congratulate the Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association on another very successful Eastern Oil and Gas Conference,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said. “We appreciate the opportunity to meet with the many industry leaders to discuss industry issues and how geoAMPS products can help them complete and manage their projects more efficiently.”
The geoAMPS software solution makes the process of right of way acquisition for exploration and production projects proceed efficiently. The software’s capabilities also make the process of acquiring right of way for long linear projects, involving hundreds of miles for pipeline installation, go smoother.
geoAMPS software assists with real estate and right of way tracking. It helps organizations track projects before and during construction. It also assists in ongoing operation of the project, automating such tasks as scheduling inspections and workflows.
geoAMPS offers web-based software, making it possible for agents in the field to access and update project information through mobile devices. The database can also be access even when an Internet connection is unreliable through geoAMPS offline capabilities. Agents can sync any changes to project data once a reliable connection is available, ensuring no data is lost and there is not duplication of efforts.
geoAMPS set the industry standard for mobile technology. It was the first to offer mobile technology to the right of way industry.
PIOGA is the principal nonprofit trade association representing Pennsylvania’s independent oil and natural gas producers, marketers, service companies and related businesses. PIOGA member companies drill and operate the majority of the state’s crude oil and natural gas, including the Marcellus and Utica shale plays.
PIOGA serves as a clearinghouse for its members’ awareness of issues impacting their businesses. Through PIOGA communications, newsletters, emails and meetings, the industry becomes aware of changes in proposed regulations early enough to have some response to the government agencies proposing those changes before they become official. PIOGA staff and committees work with regulators to achieve workable solutions.
