Girls' night out raises funds for American Red Cross

geoAMPS employees and their invited guests enjoyed an evening of fun and fashion May 9 to benefit the life-saving work of the American Red Cross.

The Delaware County (Ohio) Chapter of the American Red Cross kicked off Mother’s Day weekend with its popular Power of the Purse fundraiser. The event was held atBridgewater Banquet and Conference Center in Powell. This was the second consecutive year that geoAMPS sponsored the event and donated designer purses for the live auction.

Based in Powell, geoAMPS is a technology company that specializes in software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets.

Power of the Purse is the biggest annual fundraiser for the Delaware County chapter of the Red Cross. The chapter provides disaster relief and health and safety training for people across the region.

“geoAMPS is pleased to take part in an event that makes such a big difference in our community,” said Leena Madan, Chief Operating Officer of geoAMPS.

Women from the geoAMPS staff and their guests enjoyed a dinner buffet and designer purses available through live and silent auctions.

Chapter 10 represents IRWA members throughout the state of Indiana. The chapter invited geoAMPS to give a presentation during its meeting June 2 at Indiana Grand Racing and Casino in Shelbyville.
