geoAMPS attending Healthiest Employers awards ceremony

geoAMPS is looking forward to the awards ceremony for Central Ohio’s Healthiest Employers. The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, at the Makoy Center in Hilliard, OH.
 
geoAMPS has been recognized for its outstanding employee health programs by being named one of the Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio. Columbus Business First, a weekly business newspaper serving Columbus and the Central Ohio region, organizes the awards program in partnership with the Healthiest Employers organization to honor a select group of local companies that have gone above and beyond in providing health and wellness initiatives for their employees.
 
Columbus is the capital and largest city in Ohio. geoAMPS is a rapidly growing technology company in the Columbus area that specializes in software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets. In only three years, geoAMPS now serves clients throughout the United States and Canada. Its customers are leaders in their respective industry.

Through geoAMPS’ group medical insurance provider, employees have the opportunity to save on the cost of gym memberships, and treadmills and other exercise equipment they can use at home. They can participate in a home weight-loss program. Health coaching also is available, which can help employees quit smoking, reduce stress, lose weight, and eliminate or reduce other factors that contribute to poor health.
 
geoAMPS also offers health-related programs at the company’s office in Powell. Yoga classes are provided two evenings per week. These classes are led by a certified yoga instructor. geoAMPS also offers regular massages by a licensed masseuse.
 
This marks the second year for the Healthiest Employers of Central Ohio Awards program. Healthiest Employers is a national data and research company focused on worksite wellness. Healthiest Employers analyzed the award nominations as part of the selection process.

Chapter 10 represents IRWA members throughout the state of Indiana. The chapter invited geoAMPS to give a presentation during its meeting June 2 at Indiana Grand Racing and Casino in Shelbyville.
