geoAMPS among Central Ohio's Healthiest Employers

geoAMPS has been named one of Central Ohio’s Healthiest Employers. Columbus Business First, a weekly business newspaper serving Columbus and the Central Ohio region, organizes the awards program to honor local companies with outstanding health and wellness initiatives.
Under the leadership of Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Leena Madan, Chief Operating Officer, geoAMPS offers a wide range of services and initiatives intended to help company employees enjoy good health.

Through geoAMPS’ group medical insurance provider, employees have the opportunity to save on the cost of gym memberships, and treadmills and other exercise equipment they can use at home. They can participate in a home weight-loss program. Health coaching also is available, which can help employees quit smoking, reduce stress, lose weight, and eliminate or reduce other factors that contribute to poor health.
geoAMPS also offers health-related programs at the company’s office in Powell. Yoga classes are provided two evenings per week. These classes are led by a certified yoga instructor. geoAMPS also offers massages by a licensed masseuse.
“The geoAMPS team is a family, and family members encourage one another to stay healthy,” Yogesh said. “geoAMPS wants to grow our team. We hope qualified professionals will view our health initiatives as an incentive to join our team.”

“All of us at geoAMPS express our sincere appreciation to Columbus Business First and Healthiest Employers for selecting our company one of Central Ohio’s Healthiest Employers,” Leena said. “We put a high value on good health, so this is an honor that we treasure.”

This marks the second year for the Healthiest Employers of Central Ohio Awards program. Columbus Business First organizes the program in partnership with Healthiest Employers, a national data and research company focused on worksite wellness. Healthiest Employers analyzed the award nominations as part of the selection process.

An awards ceremony is scheduled March 27 at the Makoy Center in Hilliard, OH.
