geoAMPS Marks Earth Day 2013

As a child, you probably got into trouble when you were caught drawing on the walls in your home. Understandably, your parents didn't want you marking up the walls.
Now that you've grown, imagine working for an employer who encourages drawing on walls.
At its location in Powell, Ohio, geoAMPS has whiteboards in each meeting room and office. It's a way to write notes, summaries of meeting discussions, diagrams and task lists while cutting down on paper consumption. It also provides a collaborative, fun environment where innovation and energy can flourish. All of this is accomplished while reducing geoAMPS' carbon footprint.
geoAMPS is celebrating Earth Day 2013 by encouraging our team members to help preserve our planet. We also are encouraging others to do the same.
At geoAMPS, we do more than utilize whiteboards. We encourage recycling and avoid unnecessary printing. Our building is equipped with lighting features which automatically turn off lights in rooms temporarily not in use.
Like the geoAMPS office, our technologies create collaborative work environments for organizations around the world. From the renewable energy industry to the oil and gas industry, from the transportation industry to the communications industry, geoAMPS is advancing the cause of "going green."
On this Earth Day, the geoAMPS team would like to encourage you to look around your home and work location and find one thing in your daily life that you can change to help make an impact on the environment. Whether that is turning off an extra light, not printing an email or recycling as much as possible, many small acts from many individuals add up to make a large impact.
