Saving Cost in Developing Energy Sources

An intensive effort to develop domestic sources of energy is an effort whose time has come for the United States. Our economy is completely reliant upon energy. Indeed, the availability of reliable, abundant and inexpensive domestic sources of energy is a matter of national security.

But how does the nation get there? After decades of buying energy from foreign sources, how do we move quickly to a domestic program that will meet the nation’s needs? How do we maximize the use of sustainable, alternative sources of energy to help meet national goals?

To a large extent, the answers to these questions boil down to cost. It is enormously expensive to drill even one deep oil well, lay a natural gas pipeline across several states, develop a large wind farm or construct a solar panel farm. Historically, it has required tax incentives or grants that our revenue-starved government can no longer afford.

That is why I have found the work done here at geoAMPS so intriguing. Since joining the company as Communications and Public Relations Manager, I have been amazed at the enormous potential which the company’s high-tech products and services offer. They are core services needed by organizations involved, for example, in alternative energy, pipeline development, transportation projects, and subsurface land rights. Beyond that, however, they are products and services that save money. Reducing costs provides incentive to do more projects quicker, helping to move the nation along faster toward energy independence.

As a technology provider, geoAMPS is the leader in creating software solutions to manage land rights. We offer the latest and most cohesive technology available, bringing together a real-time database with GIS mapping, remote accesses and mobile technology. Our clients no longer have to spend valuable time with stacks of reports, notes, maps and paper files. Ours is a Web-based, paperless system that our clients have found invaluable. The information our clients need is at their fingertips anywhere, even at the work site, via their computer notebooks or mobile devices. And, we can be up and running quickly. Our solutions can be implemented out-of-the-box within only two weeks and into full production within one month.

That’s real time. That’s real money. In fact, geoAMPS products and services can result in cost savings as high as 35 percent.

There is enormous potential through geoAMPS’ cost-saving, high-tech solutions. These solutions can make the difference between our nation moving forward quickly toward energy independence or continuing to flounder in the uncertainties of the global market. They can make the difference between a continuing reliance upon a limited supply of fossil fuels, or advancing toward development of clean, safe, renewable sources of energy.

The nation’s energy decisions are at a crossroads. I am excited to be at geoAMPS, because I believe it is a company of committed individuals who are helping to shape that important national discussion.
