geoAMPS growth puts company among Central Ohio's Fast 50

geoAMPS was presented with the Fast 50 award during an awards luncheon Oct. 15 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Columbus.

A Columbus, OH-area company that provides software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets, geoAMPS was named to the Fast 50 list of fastest growing companies in Central Ohio for 2015.

Founded in 2011, geoAMPS made the Fast 50 list in its first year of eligibility. The awards program is organized annually by Columbus Business First, the leading weekly business newspaper serving Central Ohio. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the awards program. Business First reported that it received a record 125 nominations.

Honorees for the 2015 Columbus Business First Fast 50 awards were chosen from nominations received by the newspaper and verified by the Columbus accounting firm GBQ. Financial information used to compile the rankings recognized companies for their growth and performance over the past three years.

Requirements for award consideration are that the company be an independent, for-profit and privately held business through year-end 2014; average at least $1 million in sales in the three most recent fiscal years; based in Central Ohio; and have at least a three-year operating history.

Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Leena Madan, Chief Operation Officer, accepted the award for geoAMPS from Don DePerro, Publisher of Business First.

“All of us at geoAMPS are honored to be named one of the Fast 50 companies in Central Ohio,” Yogesh said. “We want to thank Columbus Business First for organizing this awards program which recognizes companies in the region that are new or experiencing rapid growth.

“This award is one that is shared by each member of our geoAMPS team,” he added. “It is because of their dedication and commitment to providing quality products and services that geoAMPS has enjoyed dramatic growth in a short period of time.”

geoAMPS has grown rapidly to become the premier provider of software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets. The company offers 11 industry-specific software products and serves customers throughout the United States and Canada.

The number of geoAMPS employees has grown from two its first year to 41 today. Its rapid growth prompted the company to relocate in early 2014 to an office more than double the square footage of its original location.
