For the third consecutive year, geoAMPS is being honored as one of the Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio for 2016.
geoAMPS helps its employees stay healthy through a comprehensive wellness and fitness program. Columbus Business First, the leading weekly business news publication serving Central Ohio, is naming geoAMPS as an honoree in the Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio awards.
Now geoAMPS is looking ahead to the Healthiest Employers Awards Program and Wellness Expo scheduled for March 15 at COSI in Columbus.
geoAMPS is one of only five honorees in the Small Organization category (2 to 99 employees). Thirty-one Small, Medium (100 to 499 employees) and Large (500 or more employees) organizations in Columbus and the surrounding region are 2016 honorees of Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio. Columbus is the capital and largest city in Ohio.
At the awards program, geoAMPS and other honorees in each category will learn how they ranked, based on an analysis of their award nominations.
In 2014 geoAMPS won first place in the Small Organization category and in 2015 geoAMPS won second place.
“Capturing the top spots in 2014 and 2015 was exciting. We are equally excited about being a 2016 honoree,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said. “We extend our appreciation to Columbus Business First for organizing this award program. By doing so, the newspaper is encouraging organizations of all sizes throughout Central Ohio to engage in health and wellness programs that are of great benefit to their employees.”
“The geoAMPS team is a family, and family members encourage one another to stay healthy,” Leena Madan, Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said. “The Healthiest Employers of Central Ohio award is an honor that we treasure.”
During the past year, geoAMPS has added upon the health and wellness initiatives that propelled it to top honors in the 2014 and 2015 Healthiest Employers in Central Ohio awards. For example, the company now provides discounted memberships to a local gym. The company also offers prizes for wellness activities through a rewards points system that can be submitted and tracked through a telephone mobile application. The application was built in-house. geoAMPS continues to offer free massages to its employees.
geoAMPS, a company launched in 2011, is providing health programs that rival those offered by large established organizations.
