geoAMPS team continues their community outreach

Suicide-Prevention-donate.jpggeoAMPS is continuing its community outreach efforts through a donation of $2,444 to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

The donation will assist the organization is conducting important programs in the Central Ohio Area. Those programs include research, prevention and education, advocacy and public policy, and support to help the organization in its goal of reducing the suicide rate 20 percent by 2025.

“The entire geoAMPS is proud to make this donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer of geoAMPS, said. “We congratulate the organization on being the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide. They do this through education, research and advocacy.”

The company and its employees have supported a number of organizations, including the American Red Cross, Humane Society of Delaware County, Columbus Literacy Council, International Justice Mission, ALS Foundation, American Cancer Society, Mid-Ohio Foodbank, Veterans of Foreign Wars Ohio Charities, Asha Ray of Hope, and the Salvation Army.
