geoAMPS is planning to move soon to a new, larger location to meet the demands of its dramatic growth. The new location will more than double the technology company's available office space.
In only its third year of operation, geoAMPS has grown to serve more than 210 direct and indirect clients internationally. There are more than 1,500 users of geoAMPS software.
The geoAMPS product line has also grown, from one software product offered initially to 12 industry-specific products offered today. In addition to its software products, geoAMPS has developed a range of innovative services, such as data migration and mobile technology, which its clients are increasingly utilizing.
“I have been pleased with the growth of geoAMPS in a relatively short period of time,” Yogesh Khandelwal, President and Chief Executive Officer, said. “Our growth is a testament not only to our outstanding products and services, but also to the hard work of our geoAMPS team. They constantly push the technological envelope to keep geoAMPS at the forefront of industry innovation.”
geoAMPS will be moving in the coming weeks into the latest edition of Wedgewood Office Park, located along Attucks Drive off of Sawmill Parkway in Powell. The new office building is under construction. The date for the company’s move is not yet scheduled.
geoAMPS’ current office is also in Wedgewood, although much smaller than its future home. The new office is 7,100 square feet, which will provide space for the current number of geoAMPS employees and accommodate anticipated future growth. So far this year, the company has added six positions, raising the total number of staff to 25.
“The move to this larger office,” Yogesh said, “is a necessary outcome of the success geoAMPS has experienced so quickly.”
geoAMPS provides software solutions to manage land rights and infrastructure assets. It serves clients in a variety of industries, including land services, energy exploration and production, transportation, utilities and renewable energy. geoAMPS software is designed to bring efficiency, standardization and predictability to business processes.
Customers include Evolve Surface Strategies Inc., a land services company located in Airdrie, one of the fastest-growing cities in Alberta, Canada. Another company recently added to geoAMPS’ growing client list is E.ON Climate and Renewables North America, one of the world’s largest owners of renewable energy projects. E.ON is using the geoAMPS product altAMPS to help manage its wind farm projects in 16 states and two provinces of Canada.
Due in large part to his leadership of geoAMPS, Yogesh was named to the prestigious Forty Under 40 Class of 2013. Forty Under 40 is an annual honors program organized by Columbus Business First. Forty Under 40 honors 40 professionals in Central Ohio who are under the age of 40 and have distinguished themselves by their career achievements, awards and community service.
